Gotta Go Too Often?

If you experience frequent urination, there are a number of reasons for it. One cause could be an irritated bladder. Some of the stimulants that aggravate the bladder are sweet dried fruit; condiments, such as soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup and mayo, because they contain acids or other ingredients that irritate; and processed foods containing artificial flavors, preservatives, MSG and benzyl alcohol. Keep in mind that these chemicals can also create free radicals, as well as damage cells. (Listen to my Spiritual Naturopathy radio shows about cancer on Unity Online Radio, or read my book “The Seven Causes of Cancer”.)

The “fizz”, carbonated drinks, is another cause of frequent urination. Other beverages that can make you go too often are coffee, tea, energy drinks and colas. These are laden with caffeine and can often drive you to the nearest “executive lounge,” AKA the bathroom.

One of my favorite after dinner treats is a very small piece of chocolate. This, too, is a stimulant because it contains caffeine and acid. White chocolate would be a good substitute since it has little or no caffeine.

Citrus fruits and tomatoes also stimulate. Cranberries are both friend and foe. Alcohol is another culprit. Less is best.

There are more things that will send you to the “lounge” to relieve water from your system.
